Mirror FAQ

Q: What colors are available for side mirrors / can you paint my mirror?

A: Mirrors are always black unless indicated otherwise. Mirrors that should be painted come with a black primed surface. We do not paint mirrors. Local auto body shop can paint your mirror to match your car.

Q: Do you sell auto mirror glass or empty casing?

A: No we only sell complete mirror assemblies ready to install.

Q: How do I install/remove a door mirror or a towing mirror?

A: The typical side view mirror install involves:
1- Removing a small triangular interior panel behind the mirror on the inside of the door. Often it is simply snapped in place. This panel usually hides three bolts with nuts fixating the mirror.
2- Unscrew the retaining nuts
3- Remove the now loose broken mirror assembly.
4- Put in place the new mirror assembly. Reverse step 2 and 1.

It is an easy job that should take less than 30 minutes. For specific instructions for your model try searching google with "YOUR MODEL how to replace mirror"

General FAQ

Q: Are the replacement mirrors new or used?

A: We only sell new parts made on OEM specs. For example a saturn ion mirror replacement would look, feel and operate exactly like the one from the Saturn dealer.

Q: How can I be sure that I order the right part for my car?

A: Call your local dealer. Tell them your VIN and ask for the OEM number of the part you need. You can also email us.

Q: How do I select the right mirror?

A: Let's say you need a Jetta mirror. Use the selector on the main page to go select Volkswagen, then jetta, then your model year. Are you looking for a passegenr mirror or a driver mirror? Is it manual or Power control? This should only leave one possible mirror for your car.

Q: Can I order by phone?

A: Yes, you can order by phone between 9 AM and 4 PM EST (Eastern Standard Time)

Q: Does the price includes customs fees?

A: Yes, we prepay customs fees for parts that come from the USA. Most of the times parts ship from Canadian warehouses.

Q: Does the price includes GST or PST?

A: No, once you checkout the proper taxation will be added. GST is charged to all Canadians. QST/TVQ is charged to Quebec residents. No PST is charged for the other provinces.

Q: I live in outside of Canada, can I order on your site?

A: No with the exception of the USA including AK, HI and PR.

Q: Where are you located?

A:  We ship from our own warehouse in Stratford, ON and from various suppliers in Canada.

Q: What payment methods are available?

A: Major credit cards, Paypal, eCheques.

Q: I'm looking for a Tahoe mirror. How do I find it?

A: You can find chevy tahoe mirrors here.

Q: I need a toyota Corolla side mirror. How do I find out if I my car was made in Japan or in America/Canada?

A: Look at your VIN (Vehicle identification number). The first letter or number indicates the country of assembly. 1 and 4 = USA, 2 = Canada and the letter J is for Japan.

Q: Is express shipping available?

A: No, we only offer ground delivery.

Q: Can I have the parts shipped to my mechanic/neighbor/brother-in-law?
A: Yes

Q: How much is shipping?

A: Shipping is free!

Q: how many days to ship to Vancouver, Calgary, etc?

A: It varies between 4 to 10 days. Once your order has been processed we will send a tracking number. You will be able to get an estimated delivery date on the carrier's website using the tracking number.

Q: I just placed my order. Will it ship today?

A: Please allow 24 hours for your order to be processed. Orders placed by noon Eastern Standard Time (EST) usually ship the same day but we cannot guarantee that an order will ship the same day it is placed. Orders do not ship on weekends. Customer is responsible for ensuring that Fedex, UPS, and/or any other carrier used can deliver to specified shipping address.
